How to use the Age Calculator
Enter your date of birth and, optionally, a different reference date (defaults to today). The calculator shows your exact age broken down into years, months and days, along with the total number of months, weeks and days you've been alive.
Why isn't my age just years?
Because months have different lengths and years have leap days, a simple day-count divided by 365 gives a slightly wrong answer. This calculator counts whole calendar years and months first, then the remaining days, which matches how age is conventionally described.
